As many of you know, Erie’s Blues & Jazz Festival has been a staple summer event in Erie for the last 27 years. As we approach the 28th Festival, there’s just no safe way to gather thousands of people in Frontier Park, so we’re asking you to do something a little different with us during the first weekend of August.

With the help of our presenting sponsor HighmarkPNC Bank and Erie Arts & Culture with support from the Doris Duke Foundation, and several other loyal community partners, we’re bringing the 2020 Erie’s Blues & Jazz Festival to you!

We will broadcast NEW live performances from WQLN studios on August 1-2, and work with additional media partners CAM Erie and 90.5 WERG Radio Station to celebrate great acts from past festivals, blues and jazz music and local artists throughout the weekend. We’re partnering with a variety of local businesses, including Room 33 and Lake Erie Ale Trail to create Festival grab-and-go party packs. And, Erie Apparel will carry this year’s Erie’s Blues & Jazz t-shirts at their stores and online as a part of their Iconic Erie collection! There will even be a virtual bucket brigade so you can add another Festival button to your collection!

Erie’s Blues & Jazz Festival is our favorite summer tradition and we need that Festival vibe more than ever this year! We encourage you to get out your tent, put your lawnchairs in the living room, crank up the TV and radio and celebrate the arts “together” with us! Tell your friends and family that the party is not canceled, but the location has changed. We’re excited to present the 2020 Erie’s Blues & Jazz Festival to you – the community that we love. Please stay tuned for more information as we countdown to August 1-2!
